The Federation of small scale mining Associations of Zambia (FSSMAZ)

The Federation of small scale mining Associations of Zambia (FSSMAZ), was registered with the Registrar of societies in 2008. This is an umbrella body of all the Small Scale Mining Associations operating in Zambia. It has 16 affiliated member Associations representing all the 10 provinces of Zambia. The Federation is being managed by an elected executive committee representing all the 16 Associations. They are elected every after three years at the general conference.
